If you were in L.A., you’d love her even more. She makes the theater experience a family event where we feel personally involved by speaking to the audience about the value of theater and of being together in sacred space. In a big city, that personal touch makes a big difference, where I support the Center for the Art of Performance over the more impersonal theater institutions.

She followed her dreams into the art world that needs her energy, spirit and perspective. She’s fresh and bright light. Thank you for doing this work.

Thanks so much, Deborah, for the kind words. It’s hard to find places where thinking people are connecting with each other to try to come up with better ways to run the world, and I’m hoping a lot of people will put their heads together on this platform of mine. Now that we’re past the time of patrons, in cognizance of artist friends who turn out brilliant work but struggle to get seen I have been known to say that whoever put commerce and art into the same universe was quite a trickster. Kristy pulls of quite the magic with the arty things she programs usually playing to full houses!

Would that everyone was as expressively intelligent as you are, and blessings on you for bringing that out in people. I still benefit from what you brought out in me in workshops I did with you decades ago!

We were born creative artists. Reclaiming ‘expressive intelligence’ as the wellspring of natural genius inspires free-spirited expression to be our unique, original selves – Artists of Being creating a new world – for the good of the whole.

It is a beautiful partnership that requires special people to build those bridges. Sue, you are a tremendous resource for bridge builders by providing a constructive platform for expansive ideas!!!

She is an arts world-changer, right here in our midst. The L.A. Times just ran a long piece, As Center Theatre Group sputters, L.A. struggles to realize its artistic potential, about the contracted state of programming at our most auspicious theater venue, where what Kristy is doing with CAP, the Center for the Art of Performace, at UCLA, is what the article said was lacking at the Music Center.

She is a rare one. Our major theater critic has just come out with a blast at our main theatrical institution for being after commercial success and not being the innovative institution that our city should have. In reading that I thought of Kristy, who does come in for a complimentary mention as exemplifying what the Music Center lacks.

I’ve known Suzanne for years and she never fails to attract beautiful, brilliant people into her life — and then to share them generously with her circle of friends. That circle of friendship keeps widening, so what a blessing it is that Suzanne is now making these catalytic conversations available to people everywhere. Thank You, Suzanne, for all that you do to awaken us to the Unity in Everything!
